Tomato thokku is one of the delicious pickle that goes well with Idly, dosa, poori, chappati, roti & upma.
It is easy to make and can be stored in fridge for 15 days. Also can be packed while travelling for 3 or 4 days. Ingredients: Tomato – 9 (medium size)
Gingelly oil or Groundnut oil – 5 tbsp
Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp
Fenugreek seeds – 1/4 tsp
Curry Leaves – 1 spring
Red chillies – 3 or 4
Garlic – 9 pods
Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
Jaggary – 1 tsp
Salt as required
