Drain them and keep aside .. In a blender add onion cubes, tomato cubes, ginger, garlic, cumin seeds,kasuri methi,all powders, salts along with some water and make a very fine paste.. Add this paste to the chickpeas along with oil and salt … Add water and mix well and cook in medium flame … 6-7 whistle or till done .. When the pressure settles down open the cooker and check whether its well cooked or not .. Then check the salt and add if needed .. Now cook this chole in medium heat till the oil separates .. Finally, add lemon juice and sprinkle some coriander leaves … Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped onion and coriander leaves. Ingredients for easy potato masala dry Potato-3
Onion-4 small
Chilli Powder-1/2tsp
Kashmiri Chilli Powder-1/2tsp
Turmeric Powder-1/4tsp
Water-1/2cup
Salt-
Tomato-1or 2 small
Oil-
Green Chilli-2
Kasuri methi-2pinch
Coriander leaves -few Method Peel and cut the potato into medium sized cubes and cook for one whistle in medium heat ..
Heat oil in a kadai..
Then add finely chopped onions and saute by adding salt..
Now add green chilli and saute until the onions become light brown colour ..
Now add all powders and saute until raw smell goes ..
Then add tomato and mix ..
Close the kadai and cook well..
Now add cooked potato,,add kasuri methi and mix..
Mash well..
Then allow this mix to become dry ..
It will take few minutes to get the roast consistency ..
Roast in medium flame ,Stir occasionally ..
When the potato masala become brown in color switch off the flame ..
By that time the masala will be easily come off from the kadai ..It won't stick to the pan when it reaches the correct consistency ..
